Description
The Bed Ladder strap has an elastic end which is fastened to the bed frame or tucked under the mattress so it is near for easy access. The other end of the strap must be secured two or three times around the end of the bed on the rail or to the bed leg and then lassoed into position.
To sit up the patient grabs the elastic loop and pulls themself up gradually by grabbing onto the lower loops. If the patient can not grip the loop the wrist of forearm can be placed into the loop and then pull themself up into a sitting position.
