Description

Normally used without padding and is fixed with a small adhesive strip, thus automatically elevating the distal joint to its proper extended position. In cases where the finger may be too tender, a large size splint with padding on the inside should be used until it can be replaced with the correct size.

Size: Measure circumference of the DIP joint (knuckle closest to the finger tip).

Size 1 – 5.0cm or less
Size 2 – 5.0cm to 5.5cm
Size 3 – 5.5cm – 5.8cm
Size 4 – 5.8cm to 6.1cm
Size 5 – 6.1cm to 6.3cm
Size 5.5 – 6.3cm to 6.8cm
Size 6 – 6.8cm to 7.3cm
Size 7 – 7.3cm to 8.4cm
