The Darco MedSurg Post Operative Shoe provides improvement in post-operative protection since the introduction of their original semi-rigid post op shoe in 1985.
The rocker sole reduces plantar pressure on the forefoot and heel by over 25% and a zoned outsole provides traction under the midfoot. MetaShank protection provides more rigid control under the metatarsal heads, a unique forefoot closure provides uniform security without the pressure points of buckles and straps.
The ankle strap eliminates heel friction by seating the foot firmly into the sole. Removable insole that is customizable with over twice the padding and a square toe design to provide additional protection and a better left/right fit.
